2009 Simon Lang Sauvignon Blanc 001
Limestone Coast

The fruit for this wine was sourced from cooler areas of the Limestone Coast region, 380 kilometres south east of Adelaide, and fermented in stainless steel tanks to retain freshness.

Tasting Note: An aged style of Sauvignon Blanc, this wine has developed a wonderfully moreish palate with good body weight and a silky smooth texture while retaining a crisp fresh finish. Mild passionfruit aroma and flavour has given way over time to subtle pineapple with some hints of tropical fruit still remaining.

Vintage Report

The 2009 vintage was characterised by generally optimal growing conditions with average growing season temperatures and winter rainfall, minimal frost occurrences and no vine disease pressures, resulting in white wines having excellent flavour profiles at lower alcohol levels.
